Yesterday I had the chance to visit Nancy with my host mom and younger host sister! The city is a little over two hours away but worth every kilometer. We had a great day, laughing in the car and walking around the city.
On the road we experienced a broken window that wouldn't go back up after being lowered to pay a toll booth. Result, driving down the highway with icy air blowing in at 150 km/h! We had an awkward moment as we doubled and were doubled a dozen times by the same belgian car, making eye contact with them each time. We laughed like crazy as a man stopped his car, got out, and peed on the wall of a castle!!
When we got to Nancy, we got lunch at a quick kebab restaurant and then visited the Place Stanislas, an impressive pedestrian square surrounded with golden gates, resembling the chateau de versailles.

Then we walked around the town and did some shopping!
so in conclusion:
